Thank you for giving your time and talent as a parish volunteer engaging with the children of Our Lady of the Pillar. The safety of our children is of the utmost important to our parish community. To ensure this safety, the USCCB and the Archdiocese of St. Louis require all adult volunteers who work with or near children or youth (even if for one occasion) to comply with the following requirements:
How can I be in compliance to work with youth at OLP?
- Complete a Worker Registration Form for a MO state criminal record and child abuse/neglect check. Volunteers who have lived in another state any time over the last 5 years must undergo an additional one-time national background check.
- Commit to the Archdiocese of St. Louis Code of Ethical Conduct by signing and returning the commitment form on the last page of the code
- Attend a Protecting God’s Children Workshop. This workshop is offered frequently at various places and times throughout the Archdiocese. Please refer to the Protecting God’s Children link on the home page of the archdiocesan website for the latest schedule of dates, times of places where the workshop is offered. The Archdiocese will notify our parish that you have completed the class.
What do I do with my completed forms?
Completed Worker Registration and background check forms and Code of Conduct of Forms are to be returned by mail to: Our Lady of the Pillar Parish, 401 S. Lindbergh Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63131, or email to email@example.com or faxed to 314-993-6462.
