There are many important items make sure are in place in order to be ‘ready’ for the first day of school. Here is a helpful list to keep your family on track.
Submit all registration and/or re-registration forms, documents and complete all pertinent online links.
Items include:
Birth Certificate
Baptismal Certificate (if applicable)
Physical form
Immunization record
Consent to administer medication (if applicable)
Payment of back to school fees
Tuition Agreement
Emergency Contacts (online)
Misc. acknowledgement/release forms (online)
Get acquainted (or re-aquatinted) with Fast Direct parent communication portal.
If you are new to Pillar your will be given log-in information to activate your family account. Fast Direct is the primary tool used for communication between school and parents. Please get in the habit of checking this frequently for information and also to monitor your child(ren)’s grades.

Purchase School Uniforms
Plaid uniforms are available for purchase from Just Me Apparel (232 Old Sulphur Springs Road 63021) Please see DRESS CODE AND GROOMING guidelines for complete details regarding dress code. The Pillar Parents’ Club hosts a ‘used uniform sale’ over the summer if you would like to purchase a few items at a discount.
Purchase School Supplies
Individual class school supply lists are posted in the Fast Direct parent portal by early June.
Complete Prevent and Protect Child Safety Training
If you are interested in volunteering in anyway throughout the school year you must complete the child safety training. This a both and online and in-person training that only needs to be done one time. Please visit http://www.preventnandprotectstl.org to begin the process.
Rock the Pillar
The Saturday before school starts there will be an opportunity to visit the school. Students and families are invited at 4pm to meet their teachers followed by Mass and blessing of the backpacks. There will be food and games after Mass. This is a great time to meet the teachers and drop off school supplies (optional).
Meet your Host Family and attend the New Family Cocktail Party
If you are new to Pillar a current family will be in contact with you. This family will help guide you throughout the year and answer any questions you may have along the way. This family is a great resource and will be eager to welcome you to the Pillar family. You will also be invited to a New Family Cocktail Party (held at Pillar). This will be a great opportunity to meet and mingle with your host family and also meet other new families.
