To Our Parishioners and Families,
So much has happened in such a short period of time I don’t know where to begin. School closings, restaurant closings, gatherings of only 500 people has dwindled to only gatherings of 10 and the ultimate sacrifice … suspension of all public masses in the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
At a time when we need our beloved Church most we must now turn to the single most important aspect in our lives and rely on prayer to get us through these difficult times.
Every Lenten Season is a challenge for all Catholics. We begin by promising Prayer, Fasting and Almsgiving but for most of us, never in our lifetime have we been challenged as much as we are now. Many will suffer more than others but if we all promise to pull together in prayer we can and will beat this tragic pandemic.
We have posted all Archdiocesan Communications on our website and will continue to do so as long as necessary. As an added means of communication, I ask that each of you send an e-mail to Deacon Fred: email@example.com so that we can update our parish records with correct/latest e-mail addresses.
Additionally, I encourage you to consider that your continued contributions to the church are essential to the operations of our parish and the missions of the church. We begin repayment of the loan this month and I ask that those of you who normally give in the collection basket each week that you consider mailing your contribution or perhaps signing up for online giving. If you have questions about this please call the parish office.
May God continue to watch over you and your families. Know that you are in our prayers and if you have any questions or concerns please let us know.
